Proto Homes

Named by Dwell magazine as one of the top 10 prefab homebuilder’s worldwide, Proto Homes blends disruptive technology with design to change the very fabric of modern home construction.

Our job was to de-clutter the site while at the same time deliver the core messaging, all with a look and feel that indicated a modern high-end home, without the hefty price tag. To that end the feel we decided upon was “Sophisticated + Welcoming”

In order to achieve this goal, we created a desktop UI which alternated between full screen and grid rows, which allowed for a clean balance of negative space, allowing the beautiful images of the homes to be front and center. This balance was then translated across mobile and tablet layouts.
